  • 1 - 1 1/2 tsp. Sichuan peppercorns

  • 2 TBSP. rapeseed oil

  • 2 TBSP. toasted sesame oil

  • 2 TBSP. chilli bean sauce (aka Toban Djan - e.g. Lee Kum Kee chilli bean sauce)

  • 1 TBSP. dark soy sauce

  • 2 tsp salted fermented black beans (aka Douchi)

  • 1 1/2 TBSP. cornflour
